Management Certification

This certification is a quality certification program jointly certified by Hong Kong Environmental Labeling and Certification Association, Hong Kong Environmental Certification Center, Hong Kong Environmental Protection Association, Hong Kong Unified Standards Association. It is one of the most popular product certification marks in the Hong Kong market, serving as a confidence indicator for consumers regarding product safety and quality.

Certification Scope: Food, jewelry, daily necessities, and other products or services. Specific scope can be discussed with the Hong Kong G-Mark organization.

Certification Process

To apply for HKG certification, you should submit a certification application: HKG Certification Application Form

Enterprises applying for certification must possess valid business licenses and food operation permits.

Product Quality Compliance with Domestic Standards and Regulations

Relevant evidence that the product meets safety requirements and other documents are submitted to the relevant department for review. If the qualifications are deemed sufficient after review by the relevant department, a certification contract will be signed with the applicant.

💡 The validity period of HKG certification is 1 year. Certified organizations must undergo follow-up supervision audits by certification bodies during the validity period of the certificate. The interval between supervision audits should not exceed 12 months, and seasonal products should be supervised during the production season. If necessary, the supervision audit should verify the safety of the product. To ensure continuous validity of the certification, certified organizations should apply for recertification three months before the expiration of the certificate.

💡 The application and documents mentioned above need to be returned to the Hong Kong HKG Center for review and approval before taking effect. Businesses can then obtain HKG certification.
