United Nations SDG certification

In 2015, the United Nations adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to establish 17 global development goals that enhance the sustainable development of enterprises themselves and society, and promote social peace and prosperity. The 193 member states of the United Nations formally unanimously adopted the commitment to implement them at the summit. 17 global goals to achieve sustainable social development, end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice, fight climate change, and cooperate with the United Nations to create a sustainable world in 2030. In July 2015, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations system in China jointly released the “Report on China’s Implementation of the Millennium Development Goals”. The report pointed out that China has completed multiple Millennium Development Goals ahead of schedule and has been recognized by the United Nations. Based on the development plan to promote the Millennium Development Goals and strive to improve the well-being of people in all countries, SDG certification allows corporate boards to review SDG management policies and strategies, including evaluating, prioritizing and managing important SDGs, and assisting the board of directors in the issuer’s business risk assessment process. How to review progress against SDG-related goals and explain how services are related to the issuer’s business.
